Zach Robins is an associate in the Corporate & Transactions practice group at Winthrop & Weinstine. Zach’s extensive experience in the areas of business and finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, equity raises and debt financings provides clients with comprehensive counsel and representation when strategic growth is a focus of your business plans.
Zach works closely with entrepreneurs and small businesses, and is co-founder of MNvest, a group which succesfully passed equity crowdfunding legislation that will empower growing Minnesota businesses to raise capital online from any Minnesota resident.
Prior to joining the firm, Zach worked in M&A for a Fortune 500 managed health care company, and served as corporate counsel for an investment bank. These unique experiences have given him a deep understanding of the priorities and challenges clients face in their businesses, and allows him to advise on issues from both a business and a legal perspective.
While in law school, Zach gained experience as a student law clerk for The Honorable Paul A. Magnuson, United States District Court, St. Paul, MN. He earned his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, and his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, where he participated in the McGuire Entrepreneurship Program.
