Innovation in online finance will be exciting, but we are talking about innovation on top of innovation.  The fact that investors can now invest online in such small dollar amounts into projects they could never access before is pretty innovative. What I expect and know we will see next are different methods information collection and distribution, some exciting new ID verifications, and for sure the adoption of distributed ledger technology.

Finally, and something I am personally working on, I see great strides in the creation of a more frictionless market, paving the way for liquidity solutions so investors can buy AND sell their shares in the same easy way they buy and sell stocks.

I would go in with a similar checklist that any issuer would have for any capital source.
1. How many deals have you funded?
2. What were the size and make-up of those deals?
3. How quickly do you fund on average?
4. What requirements do you have for funding and for reporting.

A few other questions more specifically related to the platforms would be around who manages the relationship with the investor.  That should give the issuer a good baseline set of data to compare platforms.

Blockchain and distributed ledger add tremendous value to all trading ecosystem participants, through increased speed and accuracy in the settlement and clearing process.  I believe that ownership tables and distribution information will continue to move its way onto blockchainm, allowing less friction when trading.  These are all oppurtunities that many secondary markets, including CFX Markets, are looking to take advantage of in the near future.
